Here he comes

Alas! He wore makeup without a mask

In walks the peculiar guy,
The air about him different – unlike a lot of typical guys,
His walk begins from the hip – his stride sure, his step calculated
There’s a dance on his waist – movement around the back of his jeans
He moves like water – comes in the form of soft waves
He washes a stereotype – the myth that says “men don’t move like that”

In walks the peculiar guy,
He fills the space in the air with his broad shoulders,
He’s got a beard on his chin and gloss on his lips – a provocative mix
His presence is heavy but his voice soft
He’s expressive – fluent in the art of articulation
In touch with his emotions – he uses his words as vastly and relentlessly like the oceans
He exposes a lie – the notion that says
“men don’t talk – men are hard and don’t feel”

In walks the peculiar guy,
His energy is subtle but his presence is loud,
He doesn’t fit in – he stands out,
In a room full of cocks, each trying to assert dominance over another,
He’s a peacock sitting pretty
No ruffled feathers, no extended claws ready to strike
He’s an element of beauty – carries himself with grace
He doesn’t break down doors – he gently knocks
He embodies a feature that’s different  – different from the algorithm society developed to create a divide
“men are rough – women are soft”

In walks the peculiar guy,
I heard someone say he smells like vanilla,
He likes red roses and dates by the ocean,
He wears charms on his waist and gyrates like a rattlesnake
His gaze is strong – his eyes hold and he doesn’t drop the ball
I heard his skin is soft – well taken care of
Has pretty feet and his manicured nails painted a soft shade of pink
He wears thongs and lives life like it’s a show
He likes to joke
He lives life in such a way that says
“this is me and I can be who I want to be”
