Bound to be broken

It doesn't just hurt - it stings!!!

It creeps up on my skin like this deep itch that not only sparkles...

It flames

It sets my whole peace ablaze 

And I'm writhing on a field of poison ivy

Skin burning,

Bones roasting,

I'm from outer space - but I burn like a spaceship falling back into earth

That's the only intensity that could come close

But no...

Not even that comes close 

It's incredible how I know the crash is imminent

There's no denying it

There's no - saving what I can 

No salvaging the remnants - remnants that hold the beautiful memories of the past

In this instance I know...

I'm certain that it's all gone

I lost it

I lost you

All these words

All these different versions

All to say one thing...
